Learn the art of natural dyeing with local flowers and seasonal plants from the garden! In this workshop students will learn how to mordant (the techniques used to prepare the fabric to retain the dye), will learn about the plants used to dye the fabric (we will discuss using fresh and dried flowers, but this course will highlight freshly harvested blooms from Marla’s garden!), and the technique of bundle dying!
