About Us
Fall Kill Creative Works seeks to foster connection and celebrate community by sharing our stories and creating together.
We are a community craft and education nonprofit 501(c)(3) located in Poughkeepsie, New York. Fall Kill Creative Works was founded in 2011 as the Mid-Hudson Heritage Center, with a goal to revitalize the Main Street corridor of the City of Poughkeepsie. We utilize craft education as a catalyst for connecting the diverse members of our local community and the mid-Hudson Valley region.

Other Programs
Studio to Go - sends teaching artists to local organizations that do not otherwise have access to arts, particularly senior centers, mental health and rehabilitation centers, and youth programs
Community Maker Days - brings the community together in our makers’ spaces once a month for free introductory workshops in all of our studio media
Community Meeting Space - We host meetings at Historic Glebe House, a city-owned property that we manage to create positive activity in an economically strained neighborhood. This includes classes, history-related meetings and exhibits, and space for community groups to meet, share, connect, create and grow. Glebe House has a large backyard garden space that is available for programming.
