D.I.Y. Ceramic Lamp

Make your own hand-built ceramic lamp in this two-week online workshop! 
 
This remote workshop will cover basic hand-building and surface design techniques. Participants will design and construct their own ceramic lamp forms, and either choose a solid glaze color or decorate them with the provided black slip. (Slip designs can be glazed over with either a clear or a translucent glaze.)
 
The optional kit ($25) will include 12 lbs of clay, black slip, lamp hardware, and firing fees for one completed lamp. Completed work can be fired using our Curbside Firing Service. Email Programs@fallkillcreativeworks.org to order a kit separately.
